Anne Perkins Cabot (1897-1981) was an American philanthropist and art collector. She was married to Francis H. Cabot, a wealthy businessman who was one of the heirs to the Cabot Corporation, a chemical and industrial company based in Boston.
Anne Cabot was an avid art collector and had a passion for the decorative arts, particularly Asian art. She amassed a significant collection of Chinese and Japanese ceramics, bronzes, and textiles, which she displayed in her home and lent to museums.
In addition to her art collecting, Anne Cabot was also a philanthropist. She was a supporter of the arts, education, and healthcare, and made significant donations to organizations such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Harvard University.
Anne Cabot died in 1981 at the age of 84. Her art collection was bequeathed to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and her philanthropic legacy continues through the Anne Cabot Fund established by her husband.
